Welcome to
My Education Blog

The Remote Teacher began as a space to capture, reflect on and encourage personal and professional growth during my early teaching years in a remote Australian school.

It now continues as a professional archive and reflective blog about teaching, curriculum, learning and educational leadership across different contexts, including my current work in international education.

On this site, you will find reflections on classroom practice, curriculum design, mathematics and science education, professional standards and the ongoing work of becoming a better educator.

Welcome to a space for thoughtful professional reflection. I believe educators should continue to challenge one another, learn from one another and keep improving the conditions in which young people learn. The future leaders in our communities are already sitting in classrooms today.
